We are officially welcoming 2020 with a bang! Today, we wanted to share a very important milestone not just for our brand, but for Filipino craftsmanship. We are beyond thrilled and honoured to announce that we have been included in the list of emerging designers and brands featured in Vogue’s (@britishvogue in particular) Designer Profile in their Fashion and Film Issue with #LupitaNyongo on the cover. We stand proud in acknowledging our roots being a Filipino brand and it is so surreal to be the only Philippine name on the said issue. Today more than ever, we are more fuelled to put Filipino shoe craftsmanship into the global spotlight. ❤ As our founder would say “If only most Filipinos would be aware of how great our artisans are, they would definitely beam with pride." Maraming maraming salamat po! We hope this has made all of you proud being a #Filipino. #ProudlyLokal #Vogue #britishvogue #annieandlori

The feature mentioned “the brand’s collection includes modern updates of old favorites such as the bakya or wooden clogs, and mules that feature unique indigenous Filipino textiles.

When British “Vogue” reached out to founder Faith Mijares, she was excited. “It’s a dream come true and this will definitely inspire us to continue creating more beautiful sandals for the Filipina and for more women in other parts of the world.”

If you want to cop your own pair, they’re available online.
